Oldham Carers Centre

Dear Carer

As you may have heard, as the result of a public tendering process, the management of Carers Centre will be transferred from Gaddum Centre to another provider with effect from the 1st June. Whilst this will result in some changes, it is hoped that you as a Carer will see no change in the services and support you have received in the past. At this point in time, the current staff will be probably be staying and employed by the new organisation.

Gaddum Centre has been involved in supporting Carers in Oldham for just over 5 very full and busy years and I would like to take this opportunity to say what a privilege it has been to get to know and work with many of the carers.

I have enjoyed working with everyone involved and would particularly like to say thank you to those carers who through the advisory committee and in other ways have helped us ensure that the Carers’ Centre met the needs of Carers in Oldham.

It has also been a privilege to work with the staff team at the Carer Centre- an extremely dedicated and professional group of people and I trust they will continue to be able to provide the support and care to the Carers of Oldham
